Dia de los Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead, has origins in many countries that can be traced back for centuries. The well known Mexican holiday usuallyfalls on November 1st and 2nd when the veil between the world of the living and the world of the dead is at its thinnest. Much like Samhain, Dia de los Muertos celebrates our ancestors. It is believed that angelic children and adults descend from heaven to visit loved ones left behind. In anticipation, families decorate cemeteries and prepare elaborate and colorful altars filled with flowers and sweets for the children.

Dia de los Muertos begins October 31st and goes through November 2nd this 2020.

Sugar Skull Candles are created using all-natural soy wax, are unscented and measure 6.5" x 2.25".
