New! Alchemy Ritual Candles
So, one morning I woke up and thought to myself, "These witches need an all new luxury candle line!" And so it is.
After over 20 years of crafting pillar candles, I thought it was about time I try something completely new and unique, and I am so excited to debut our new Alchemy Ritual Candles here at White Magick Alchemy! I've been working night and day on this new candle line for the last 6 months, making sure that everything was all dialed in before launch. When you make candles, its not about just choosing a container and throwing some random wick in, it actually takes months of thought and planning. To execute a solid candle there are wax tests, fragrance tests, wick tests, burn tests, etc. With 23 years in the candle industry and with months of working with this new amazing all-natural wax blend, I'm confident that you guys are going to love our new container intention candles.
Alchemy Ritual Candles are beautiful hand poured luxury candles, infused with energy crystals to amplify your spiritual workings. About the wax - Get ready to experience an amazing new wax, hand blended right here in the WMA candle studios. Our new proprietary all-natural blend of pure coconut waxes and apricot waxes burns exceptionally well and each candle has an amazing scent throw, and contains no paraffin, soy or palm waxes. This luxurious creamy wax blend is so yummy that you can even use it as a perfume. After the candle has burned for a while, blow the candle out and allow the wax pool to cool for a bit. Then simply apply like you would a solid perfume.
Ritually charged and witch blessed with sacred sage, Alchemy Ritual, as well as all of our candles are free from harmful additives, animal and poly based products widely used in the candle industry today. I hope you love our new candles as much as we do -

How to burn your Alchemy Ritual container candle - If you want the bang for your buck with your candles, the number 1 rule is to always burn your candle on the initial lighting until it reaches the outer edge of the pillar or container. So many times people will light their new candle, let it burn for 10 or 15 minutes, then blow it out. That's literally the best way to ruin a new expensive candle. Rule is for pillar candles is to burn your candle 1-hour for every inch in diameter. So if you have a 3 inch round candle, you will want that first initial burn to be at least 3 hours or more. Essentially, WMA candles are meant to burn for long periods of time. So if you are planning a trip into town in a half hour, don't light your new candle. Wait until you are going to be home for the entire evening then light your candle. Allow it to burn until the wax pool reaches the outside edge of the candle. For container candles, same rule will apply for paraffin container candles. However, our new Coco Wax blend works a little differently. Because it is a softer wax, it won't take that long for the candle wax pool to reach the rim of the container because this wax will essentially liquefy. Larger sized candles will take longer than the Petites, but the objective is to make sure, on that initial burn, that you burn the candle until it reaches the rim of the container. This will prevent tunneling and allow you to get the longest and best burn.
NEVER LEAVE CANDLES BURNING UNATTENDED!!! I cannot stress this enough. Its the BIG RULE. Its all about common sense when burning candles. Leaving any candle, pillar or container, left alone is never recommended. Don't do it!!! Always trim your wick to 1/4 inch, preferably 1/8th inch before each lighting. If the wick seems too long and you see black smoke shooting out from the wick, that means the wick is too long. Extinguish and relight. People think that paraffin wax is the reason why candles throw soot. Not true. It is the length of the wick that causes the flame to burn too high, hence creating soot. Soot will occur with any type of wax too, just not paraffin wax. In fact, when soy wax was introduced years ago, they claimed that soy would not throw soot. That was simply a marketing ploy to get people interested in soy wax and essentially none of those claims were true. So, make sure you are going to be present, keep your wicks trimmed to the recommended length, never leave candles burning unattended, and keep away from drafts, air conditioning vents, open windows, fans, children and pets. Do not burn container candles longer than a few hours at a time as the glass can become very hot. Never move a burning candle ever as the container can get very hot and you might drop it and ruin your floor. Keep wax pool clear of debris. Enjoy!
