I am so happy to announce that our handmade Witch Brooms and Kitchen Brooms are available again! There was a wee hick-up relative to supplies and staffing that caused the delay, but they are back on track again crafting the most beautiful brooms on the planet.

Where do you start with this one! One of our most popular brooms that just seems to be getting more renowned every year. You better think way ahead if you want this one before Halloween. Our customers tell us about more interesting uses for this broom all the time. This seems to be the broom of choice for the discerning witch. It is often used in cleansing ceremonies, weddings, handfastings and sweat lodges. This old world style broom is functional but definitely geared more toward those with magical interests. The dyeing process is done with non toxic dyes that are stable and will not bleed under normal conditions.

All of our brooms are made of 100% organic materials. Every step is done by hand, from harvesting and preparing the raw materials to the finished piece. Before the arrival of the commercial broom company, with a very practical flat (Shaker) broom, brooms were sown round and usually left untrimmed, as it required no special equipment to do this. Local craftsmen might make an annual batch of Besoms, made of the local materials, which were indigenous to the area and sell or trade them in the local village. This is the “old world” style of broom.

The brush fiber is made of only the highest quality 100% broomcorn. The handles are kiln-dried hardwoods from the Ozark Mountains. The raw materials, tools and techniques used date back hundreds of years. A balance between function, décor, and the sacred being our purpose.
