Mirrors have long been used in spellwork as tools of return—bending, deflecting, and sending back unwanted energy to its source. When working reversal magick, a mirror becomes both shield and messenger, quietly turning aside what was never meant to settle with you.

For candle workings, place your pillar candle in a small heat-safe dish and set it directly atop the mirror. If using container or vigil lights, simply rest the glass candle on the mirror’s surface and allow the work to unfold.

A word of care: when dedicated to reversal or banishing, the mirror should never be looked into—under any circumstance, even upon arrival. To gaze into it is to risk drawing that redirected energy toward yourself. Instead, handle it with intention. After use, return it to its satin bag and keep in your magick drawer or sacred space until it is called upon again.
